Teresa M. Karlson leads the Ledgers team and ensures each and every client receives timely, accurate data where, when and how they want it. Her 20 years of accounting experience includes knowledge of real estate, wholesale distribution, banking, entertainment, service companies, and non-profit industries. A Xero-Certified Advisor and Quickbooks specialist, Teresa handles setup, training and troubleshooting as well as full payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial statements and other day-to-day financial support. Teresa is on the board of directors of the Soroptimist International of San Ramon Valley; and treasurer for the Rolling Hills chapter of the National Charity League. Multi-talented, Teresa is also is fluent in reading, speaking and writing Spanish – and cooking up a mean paella.

Josh is a ten-year veteran at Ledgers that sees every accounting challenge as an opportunity to help a client. Currently enrolled at San Francisco State University, he applies his accounting knowledge and experience to manage the payroll department and provide solutions. Intuition fuels Josh’s approach to accounting as he states, “Every financial statement tells an incredibly complex story!” Outside of work Josh enjoys the beautiful Northern California scenery with plenty of trail running.

Kristy Waterman applies her extensive business experience to help her clients every day. She goes beyond balancing the books and providing accurate data. Kristy treats each client’s business as her own – always seeking a better and more cost-efficient solution. Outside of work Kristy’s high energy has earned her “fun aunt” status. And, when she’s not cheering for the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame, she can be found soaking up the vitamin D and doing yoga.

Francisco is one of those rare types of people who loves to create and manage budgets. As a UCLA graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics, he’s our resident whiz kid. He not only understands numbers, but knows how much balanced books and accurate financial data can impact a business. Francisco is also a life long learner. “The more I learn, the more effective I can be at my job, which will allow me to be more accessible and helpful to my clients.”

Lori’s love for bookkeeping began as she had the opportunity to manage several restaurants and do their books. She began to realize the value of both clear and timely financials and a good bookkeeper. It allowed the owner to better manage the overall picture of running the restaurants and address profitability issues. From accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, P&L’s, reconciliations and well organized year end books, Lori can handle all our client’s bookkeeping needs.
Personally, Lori is a soccer mom, a board member of Head Start in her community, and is on the Linden Elementary School Committee.
